In common Hindi usage, the word dharamshala refers to a shelter or rest house for spiritual pilgrims. Traditionally, such dharamshalas were commonly constructed near pilgrimage destinations to give visitors a place to sleep for the night. Known for its pleasant climate and natural beauty, Dalhousie is one of the most famous hill stations in Himachal Pradesh. The hill station is situated at the Western end of the Dhauladhar range of mountains.

Khajjiar is known as “Khajjiar as a Mini Switzerland of India.” Both these towns near Dalhousie are known for their lush landscape, floral meadows and tranquility. The list of attractions of the day includes Central Park- it offers a magnificent view of the entire hill town, Rang Mahal-one of the largest monuments of the region that is built in Mughal-British architecture, Khajjiar Lake and Bhuri Singh Museum-named after Chamba's former king, it houses collection of miniature paintings, wooden carvings etc. If you are an adventure enthusiast, you can also try your hand at zorbing. In the evening return to hotel and night stay.

No early morning wake up post after breakfast at 10:00 AM and drive to visit Dharamshala, visit Mcleod Ganj Tibet has lent importance to Mcleod Ganj. The Buddha temple is situated opposite the present abode of His Holiness, the Dalai Lama. This place is well worth a visit and around it is situated Tibetan monasteries and nunnery. A number of residential buildings, restaurants, antique and curio shops are present. Visit Dal Lake-placed amidst lush greenery the lake also has a Shiva temple on its banks, St. John's Church- an Anglican church built in 1852, it is dedicated to John The Baptist, Tibetan Monastery- for witnessing the worshipping rituals of the region and Bhagsu Nag Temple- an ancient Hindu temple dedicated to Snake God, Nag and Lord Shiva. Return to hotel and night stay.

Today morning after breakfast check out from the hotel as per your flight timing or Train timings, Transfer to Dharamshala Airport or Pathankot Railway station. Take your flight or Train for onward journey.
Please note that there are some places at hill station where vehicles are not allowed. You have to manage sightseeing of that place by your own. Parking is always a big problem at hill stations, so sometimes drivers have to Park the vehicle away from the hotel. Please ring your driver 1 hour prior leaving the hotel.

Best Time to Visit Madhya Pradesh ?
The summers are extremely hot from March to June, but if you are in for tiger spotting at the wildlife sanctuaries in Madhya Pradesh, March till June is the best time to do so. Head to Bandhavgarh, Kanha or Pench National Park to catch the royal predator at one of the watering holes to seek respite from the heat.
