The complete circumambulation of Shri Govardhan Giriraj ji is of 21 km. Devotee divides the Govardhan Giriraj ji parikrama into two parts according to his convenience. Both these Parikramas are known as small and big Parikrama. The village of Govardhan falls in the middle of the circumambulation.
Morning arrival Mathura, get greeted, our representative receives you and take you to your designated Hotel at Mathura. Check in Fresh en up and drive to visit Sri Krishna Janam Bhoomi ,Dwarikadheesh temple then proceed for Gokul visit Ramanreti, Chinta Haran Temple, Chaurasi khamba, Raval village birth place of Sri Radha Rani, and later visit Brahamand Ghaat and Raman Reti Yamuna Ghat for Yamuna Aarti. Return to hotel Night stay.
Mathura to Govardhan 26 kms, Govardhan Parwat to Barsana 22 kms. Barsana to Mathura 50 kms
After breakfast, drive to Goverdhan, on arrival you can start your Prakrima from Daan Ghati Mandir, you can hire an e-riksha or cycle rikshwa for completing your Prakrima and if the health permit you can complte this Parikrama on foot also. The complete circumambulation of Shri Govardhan Giriraj ji is of 21 km. Devotee divides the Govardhan Giriraj ji parikrama into two parts according to his convenience. Both these Parikramas are known as small and big Parikrama. The village of Govardhan falls in the middle of the circumambulation. Radhakund village is situated in the north and Puchhari and Jatipura villages are situated in the south. The circumambulation from Govardhana Danghati through Anyaur, Poochhari, Jatipura and back to Govardhana is called Badi Parikrama which is of 12 kms.
Then the circumambulation from Govardhan to Uddhav Kund, Radhakund, Kusum Sarovar and back to Govardhan is called a small circumambulation. This circumambulation is completed in 9 kms. It is good to complete the entire circumambulation of 21 kms in one go on same day. It takes around 5-6 hours to complete the Prakrima on foot and By e-rikshwa it takes only one/one-half hours. Later drive to Barsana visit Radha Rani temple and Rangili mahal. Drive back to Mathura. Late evening arrival and night stay.
Mathura to Vrindavan 15 kms
Today no early morning wake up, Post breakfast, check out and drive to Vrindavan, Arrival Vrindavan visit Raman Reti, Nidhivan , ISKON Temple, Banke Bihari Temple, Kaanch Ka Mandir and Prem Mandir, visit few more places depending upon time available. Tranefer to Railway station at Mathura.
The trip has come to an end but the fond memory of the place remains.
Please note that there are some places at hill station where vehicles are not allowed. You have to manage sightseeing of that place by your own. Parking is always a big problem at hill stations, so sometimes drivers have to Park the vehicle away from the hotel. Please ring your driver 1 hour prior leaving the hotel.
